"Home School Heroes is a book of stories
of God's faithfulness in answering the prayers of brave fathers and mothers, obeying His call to teach their children,
while facing very intense and difficult legal opposition in the 1980s and
'90s. This book tells the stories of God's miraculous deliverance of
these homeschooling parents in the courts and in the legislatures,
while explaining what to do when
faced with social workers, police, and truant officers at their door.
Journey through God's faithfulness to homeschool families
across the nation and learn how God miraculously changed
judges' hearts, protected His people, and brought about the present freedoms we
enjoy today."
Every homeschooler should read this book written by Chris Klicka -- a modern-day Homeschool Hero!

TRIBUTE AND DONATION INFO
FOR THE KLICKAS
Donation Information from Mike
Farris, HSLDA:
Several
state organizations have asked about making a donation to the Klicka family in
memory of Chris, specifically asking for a recommendation on how to designate
the gift. I have spoken with Tracy about this subject and she informed me
that her preference would be for assistance with the education accounts for
their children. Tracy and Chris have established college education
accounts for the children. You may contribute to this education account
by making checks payable to College America, designated for the Klicka
Education Account. Donations should be sent to: The Klicka Family 6779 Riley Road Warrenton, VA 20187
On
behalf of HSLDA and the Klicka family, we want to thank you from the bottom of
our hearts for the outpouring of love and affection demonstrated by so many
leaders in the homeschool community. Your support and prayers have been
overwhelming. Thanks again for all you have done. -- Mike Farris
