"After booking flights through Travelocity for more
than five years, last month I decided to try EduTravel. I compared the two
sites and was pleasantly surprised to find I could get the exact same flight
and price! It is so nice to know EduTravel will offer my family the best deals

~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ H1N1 Swine Flu Vaccine Update and New Section The
Richmond City Health Department is now offering an H1N1 Swine Flu
Vaccine Clinic to children who are being homeschooled in Richmond City.
View a letter from the department and other details on HEAV's
Homeschooling in Virginia Blog. To view a daily updated list of clinics in other areas of the state, see www.vdh.state.va.us/index.htm.
Starting next week, a list of clinics will appear each week below the Cool Sites section of the Update.
*Important
Note: HEAV does not recommend or endorse any vaccine. Vaccination decisions are the responsibility of the parents. Because homeschoolers fall within the at-risk target group for H1N1 influenza, HEAV wants to make sure parents of homeschooled children have equal access to the vaccine, and have the information they need to make decisions for their family members.

Parting Thought - Common Fishing Expressions Explained
Lure: An object that is semi-enticing to fish, but will drive an angler into
such a frenzy he will charge his credit card to the limit before exiting the
tackle shop.
Reel: A weighty object that causes a rod to sink quickly when dropped
overboard.
Rod: An attractively painted length of fiberglass that keeps an angler from
ever getting too close to a fish.
School: A grouping in which fish are taught to avoid your $30 lures and hold
out for bread instead.
Tackle: What your last catch did to you as you reeled him in just before he
wrestled free and jumped back overboard.
Tackle Box: A box shaped amazingly like your first-aid kit, except containing
many sharp objects. When you reach in blindly to get a Band-Aid, you soon find you
need more than one.

5) Worth Repeating "The notion that the church, the press,
and the universities should serve the state is essentially a Communist notion.
In a free society these institutions must be wholly free--which is to say that
their function is to serve as checks upon the state."
- Alan Barth, (1906-1979),
in The Loyalty of Free Men, 1951. Barth served on the editorial board of the Washington Post for 30 years.
~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ ~:~ 6) Verse of the Week The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth
his trust in the LORD shall be safe. - Proverbs 29:25 (KJV)
