It's Time to File Your Notice of Intent!
The deadline to let your division superintendent know you will be homeschooling is August 15. The HEAV website has newly revised Notice of Intent information, as well as a Notice of Intent form you can download and use.

New Study Says Homeschoolers Are Still Performing Well
Just yesterday, HSLDA released the results of an extensive study by Dr. Brian Ray. "The results were consistent with previous studies on homeschool academic achievement and showed that homeschoolers, on average, scored 37 percentile points above public school students on standardized achievement tests."
