A DAILY DOSE OF ENCOURAGEMENT!

Be inspired, encouraged, and instructed by this year’s convention speakers for as little as 92 cents per session! Experience all of the benefits
of attending the convention at your own pace, wherever you like!

Jennifer Agnew, a homeschooling mom from Charlottesville, loves the way her convention MP3s fit in with her busy homeschooling lifestyle.

"I am able to fill my mind up with godly wisdom each day as I jog along. I always come back from my jogs with a fresh idea and a new attitude
about homeschooling. It would have been too much to process all this information in a weekend, but with the MP3, I can get my cup filled
regularly. Thank you so much for offering it. I will definitely purchase it--and recommend that others purchase it--each year."

Now you can be encouraged by 86 different workshops for only $79! Enjoy speakers such as Jeff Myers, "Little Bear" Wheeler, Susan Wise Bauer,
Andrew Pudewa, Valerie Bendt, Mark Holden, Scott & Marcia Somerville, Rick & Marilyn Boyer, and many, many others.

What's Your Style?

Identifying your teaching style and understanding your child's learning style can make a big difference in your homeschool learning environment.
Learning can become easier and more enjoyable if we understand some easy ways to modify our teaching methods to fit our child's learning style!

As parents, we naturally teach the way we learn. But suppose our children learn a different way? If this happens, these differences can create
challenges-for both students and parents!

Join us Thursday, September 14, for an interesting time of discovery as Linda Trumbo presents “What's Your Style?”

We naturally teach by using visual, auditory, or hands-on methods of instruction-the way we learn. When we instruct one way and our children
receive instruction in a different way, a roadblock can develop. “What's Your Style?” will take the mystery out of teaching your children! You'll
discover:

·   The Developmental Stages of Homeschooling - Understanding the developmental stages in home education can bring peace and joy to your home
learning environment.

·   What's Your Style? - Take the mystery out of teaching by discovering your child's learning style and learning personality! Knowing your own
style can help you find a harmonious balance in your home.

·   How to Adapt Your Curriculum - Understanding leaning styles, learning personalities, and right and left brain learning will help you adapt
your curriculum to the needs of your unique child.

You won't want to miss it! Linda Trumbo, homeschool mother of five and past publisher of the “How to Homeschool Newsletter,” will share helpful
strategies from more than 15 years of teaching and counseling experience. Linda has written articles for Homeschooling Today Magazine and
contributed to KONOS: Orderliness by Jessica Hulcy. She continues to teach writing and literature classes to homeschool families.

Get the help you need and the materials you are looking for! Be sure to come early or stay afterwards to peruse our resources. While you're at the
Homeschool Resource Center, you may also schedule a free curriculum counseling session with an experienced homeschool teacher/counselor for
answers to your specific questions.

Register by calling the HEAV office at 804-278-9200. We accept Visa or MasterCard. Registration is available at the door, but pre-registration
will guarantee a seat and allow us to notify you of any schedule changes or space limitations. Limited to 40 seats.  No childcare available.

Questions? Give us a call at 804-278-9200, or e-mail questions to info@heav.org. We'll be happy to help you!
