What: HEAV has partnered with the State Fair of Virginia to bring you specially discounted admission tickets to the Homeschool Day at the Fair on Friday, September 30, 2011.

WALK-AROUND TICKETS

Walk-Around Tickets include all exhibits but do not include Midway rides. If you wish to ride the rides, you will also need ride tickets (see below).

Student Walk-Around Tickets (preschool-grade 12): $6 each (includes HEAV administration fee)

Adult Walk-Around Tickets (all other ages): $12 each (includes HEAV administration fee)

Children two and under are admitted free.

PLEASE NOTE: You may request one (1) complimentary chaperone ticket for every eight (8) student tickets ordered on ONE order form. You may wish to combine ticket purchases with your support group or other families to qualify for chaperone tickets.

RIDE WRIST BANDS

Ride Wrist Bands are also available for purchase in advance through HEAV for $16 each, or at the door from the State Fair of Virginia for $21 each.

HOURS

Your Homeschool Day Tickets are good on Friday, September 30, 2011, for admission between the hours of 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. only (although you may stay on the grounds until closing). If you exit the grounds during that time to get lunches, etc., you must have your hand stamped and return for re-admittance between those hours in order to re-enter.

PARKING

Good news! There is no parking fee this year.

TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE

Homeschool tickets cannot be used on any other date, regardless of weather. Walk-Around Tickets include all exhibits but do not include Midway rides. Check the State Fair website at www.statefair.com/visitors for a preview!

HOW TO ORDER YOUR HOMESCHOOL TICKETS

Fill out and mail in an order form, or include all pertinent information on a sheet of paper.

Orders received through September 16 will be mailed. A limited number of Walk-Around Tickets may be available at the HEAV office after that date, but must be picked up in person.
